The Kansas Natural Resource Council announces the screening of the third film in a series of short documentaries on water in Kansas. “The Waters of Kansas – Our Shrinking Reservoirs” will be screened at the Burlington Branch of the Coffey County Library on Tuesday, March 10th at 7:00 pm. Following the film will be a public discussion of Kansas water issues moderated by Dr. Sara Gregg, Associate Professor of History at the University of Kansas. This series of films is meant to prompt discussion of Kansans’ relationship with water as the state struggles to deal with water quality and quantity issues. Light refreshments will be provided and casual discussions encouraged following the formal program. Please visit the KNRC website, knrc.weebly.com, to see clips from the films.
